Does your car support CarPlay but want to use Android Auto? AAWireless is the answer!

Do you have a vehicle compatible with Android Auto, not wirelessly, but you still want to use it? The answer is AAWireless. Do you have a vehicle that is compatible with CarPlay, not wirelessly, but you still want to use it? The answer is AAWireless. You have a compatible vehicle only with CarPlay, but do you want to use it with Android Auto? The answer is always AAWireless.

As you may have guessed, this dongle, initially designed only for Android Auto, has now become a Swiss Army knife which allows the two main infotainment systems to be used wirelessly on an ever-increasing number of vehicles. And with the latest update to version 3.1 this is even more true.

It has indeed been introduced hardware acceleration to use Android Auto on the CarPlay protocol, which means that if you have a car compatible only with the Apple system, via AAWireless you can use it “full power” also with Android Auto. But not only that, it is also improved compatibility with CarPlay, which was introduced in beta a few months ago; and finally there are also generic improvements to the Bluetooth (which is always a potential source of hassle with these systems).

AAWireless is already working on the next version, available in beta, which it will continue to work on Android Auto over CarPlaywith further improvements to the initial connection and improved knob/touchpad support on certain Mercedes, just to demonstrate that this is not a half-done thing.

AAWireless can be yours for just €55.99 from the official store, on sale since Black Friday (but it could end soon!): if you don’t have one yet, there’s no better time than now to buy it!
