Google Gemini will allow you to precisely edit the answers you provide

Google continues to work hard to improve its Gemini artificial intelligence model. In this sense, the Mountain View giant is adding a feature that will allow you to edit a section of the response provided by your chatbot. In particular, Google Gemini is about to receive a more precise way to optimize responses by selecting the portion of text you intend to edit. Among other things, it will also be possible to provide Gemini himself with some instructions on how to create the response.

As soon as Gemini has provided the answer, the user will have to highlight the text he wishes to modify by pressing on an icon with a pen icon. Four options will therefore appear:

  • Regenerate: Gemini will be asked to rewrite the highlighted section;
  • Shorten: Gemini will be asked to summarize the highlighted section;
  • Stretch: Gemini will be asked to delve deeper into the highlighted topic;
  • Remove: Gemini will be asked to completely eliminate the highlighted section.

This is undoubtedly an update that will allow users to obtain an answer even closer to your needs. In fact, in this way it will be possible to ask Gemini’s artificial intelligence to modify only part of the answer and not all.

Finally, at least for now, this functionality is only active in English.
