If Android Auto isn’t working after updating to Android 14, try this solution!

With Android 14 Google has introduced several new features on smartphones, however its relationship with Android Auto did not start in the best way. In fact, there would be quite a few user reports regarding malfunctions and bugs emerged following the installation of the latest version of the operating system. In the past few hours, however, a user has provided a solution that would solve all the problems.

In particular, this solution, which would only work on a car in which Android Auto does not start at all, consists of enabling USB debugging on your smartphone. Following this change, Android Auto should work correctly (you can also disable USB debugging later). In this regard, someone on the Google forums confirmed the effectiveness of the solution, adding that to complete the operation successfully you need to restart the smartphone.

Waiting to find out more, Android 14 would be causing other problems. For example, one would involve Spotify, with the speakers failing to play the music despite the correct functioning of the app.

In short, Android 14 and Android Auto still don’t get along too well, although there are some exceptions. In this sense, on Pixel 8 Pro everything seems to work in the best way, even when connecting the device wirelessly.
