The new Audi Q6 e-tron revealed: power and efficiency can go together

Audi has just revealed the new Q6 e-trona particularly interesting new SUV that was created with the intention of blending the look of the power with that of efficiency.

The new electric car from the German company is obviously high-end, especially if we look at the price (we also remind you of our collection with the cheapest electric cars for each brand), and arrives on the market with an interesting series of innovations.

With this new Q6 e-tron Audi decisively confirms its commitment to the electric segment. Among the main innovations of this car we certainly find the new technology for the production of batteries. It’s about CATL NMC cells high energy density, which were stacked one on top of the other, for a total of 12, to provide the vehicle with a capacity of 94.9 kWh.

Compared to the previous generation of batteries, these should bring an increase in power density equal to 62%and to an increase in 66% of the mechanical moment.

Overall, all of this should result in a 33% more performanceand in one reduction in consumption equal to 30%.

The improvements also concern the charging process: Audi has in fact created a preconditioning of the batteries, which should act on their temperature to reduce charging times, especially in low temperature conditions outside. Still on the subject of efficiency, Audi’s new car integrates a new one heat pump for the air conditioning of the passenger compartment, which should lead to a 30 km increase in autonomy with external temperatures between -10°C and 20°C.

Let’s go and see now some technical data on the new Audi Q6 e-tron:
