New blow for TIM customers: increases of up to 2.49 euros from March 14th

Some are coming new bad news for the customers TIM, and in particular for some of those who have one of the operator’s mobile offers active (here are the best mobile offers of the moment). TIM has in fact announced a new remodeling.

Through its official website, TIM has announced that one will arrive soon new contractual reshapingwhich will involve some increases for monthly rates. The operator has not specified which offers these will be, however limiting communication to those who have active ones a mobile offer.

Monthly rate increases are around between 0.99 and 2.49 euros. These increases will therefore come into force from the first renewal after March 13th from March 14th onwards. Obviously, all customers involved in the remodeling will receive one communication via SMS starting today, February 12.

But it’s not all bad news. Along with the remodulation, justified by TIM with the economic needs connected to the changed market conditions, there also come some forms of compensation for those who will be involved in the remodulation and will accept it.

The TIM customers involved will in fact be able to obtain 50 GB more data traffic per month, for free. To redeem this option you will need to send a free SMS to 40916 with text 50GIGA ON. In parallel, it will also be possible to enable navigation up to the speed of 5G for free. Also in this you will need to send a free SMS to 40916 with text 5G ON.

In addition to this, the customers involved will also be able to take part in an offer reserved for them by TIM, which provides: same costs And 2GB more compared to the current one. To choose this option you will need to send a free SMS to 40916 with the text CONFIRM ONby February 29, 2024.

Of course, everyone involved will also be able to withdraw from the contract at no cost. To do this, the decision must be communicated to TIM by April 12, 2024. To exercise the right of withdrawal by terminating the mobile line, the customer can fill in the “Termination request form and self-certification of line ownership“.
