The Android Auto 11 beta is already here

Google has released Android Auto 11.0.1347, the first build of the version 11, available to all testers who are part of the beta program. Getting to the heart of the news, This version doesn’t seem to include any big new features, especially because the Mountain View giant seems to have focused more on package optimizations. However, moving forward, the company plans to launch new features.

These should include the introduction of a disconnect button for users using Android Auto wirelessly. Speaking of which, until now, to close the application you need to turn off Bluetooth. Google, therefore, intends to simplify the experience with this innovation: in fact, the disconnect button will be available in the notification center and users will be able to use it to connect another smartphone to the main unit.

Additionally, the company is developing a functionality that will allow the smartphone wallpaper to “move” to all devices, including Android Auto. The new option, therefore, will allow you to create personalized wallpapers in the car (although it is not yet clear whether it will be possible to set another image as the Android Auto wallpaper).

This is an interesting innovation given that the stable version of Android Auto only allows you to select a wallpaper from those already available, without any support for photos or images on the mobile device.
