This error causes Android Auto to not work at all

For quite some time we have had different updates to Android Auto that have brought a multitude of new features and optimization of the application, but on the other hand, some of them also bring the occasional error that makes this application not work excessively well.

And unfortunately it is being reported that the latest stable update for Android Autoversion 10.9, it’s not that it’s bringing a particular bug, but it causes the application to stop working completely.

Some users who have installed the latest update from the Play Store, the one mentioned Android Auto 10.9they can no longer start the application.

The failure occurs in cars where the app started automatically without user intervention, so this latest version would have modified the default configuration.

In any case, even manually running Android Auto does not start the application, so this is a fairly important error.

Apparently, this error is reproduced on several car models and on several mobile devices, so everything seems to point to the latest stable version of Android Auto.

And as usual, none of the alternative solutions are usually worth it, such as deleting the cache or installing Android Auto from scratch.

A community specialist notes that they are currently investigating the situation, and are asking users to submit detailed error reports including vehicle make, head unit model, Android OS version, and mobile model.

The culprit could be Android 14, because since its launch in Android Auto it seems that it is not getting along too well with some features.
