TikTok and Ticketmaster together also in Italy: here’s how to buy concert tickets from the social network

News coming for Italian TikTok users: the social network now allows artists to sell concert tickets directly from the application itself. This service is possible thanks to the renewed partnership with Ticketmaster, a well-known industry platform, which now sees the collaboration expand outside the United States, arriving in over 20 new countries.

As announced by TikTok itself, the partnership is launched for the first time in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Germany, France, Canada, Mexico, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Spain and Sweden. According to the company, this is one way to bringing music fans closer to their favorite artistsalso allowing any certified artist on TikTok (in participating countries) to promote their live dates.

There ticketing function by Ticketmaster allows you to complete the purchase in just a few clicks and without leaving TikTok. As shown in the images, a specific button will appear (with the Ticketmaster logo) directly in the video description TikTok posted by the artist.

Once clicked, you will be directed to the Ticketmaster website to make the purchase.

Since its beta launch, the partnership has proven to be a success, with sales campaigns for emerging and established artists such as: Niall Horan, The Kooks, Burna Boy and Shania Twain.

TikTok’s head of music partnership development, Michael Kümmerle, said:

“This is an exciting time for the millions of music fans in the TikTok community. By allowing fans to purchase tickets directly through the app, we’re giving artists the opportunity to reach buyers in a whole new way and change the rules of gaming for live events around the world. We are very excited to see how our partnership with Ticketmaster develops over time.”
