WhatsApp: here are four new options for text formatting

What’s more satisfying than receiving a ”well done” voice message? Maybe receive a text message well ordered. In this regard, WhatsApp has just added new options for text formatting that will help users write gods definitely clearer messages and sorted (do you already know how to transfer Whatsapp from Android to Android without Google Drive?).

These are not absolute novelties, since we already started talking about them last year, but now they are finally available for the versions WhatsApp Android, iOS, Web and Mac. Let’s see in detail what they are four new options which are added to the formats already available (bold, italic, strikethrough and monospace).

As shown in the photo shared on Mark Zuckerberg’s channel, it is now possible to use some bulleted and numbered listsformat text as code and add a quote.

  • Bulleted list: to create a bulleted list, that’s it add a ” – ” before the line interested and then press the space key. By going to the top you will continue to lengthen the list.
  • Numbered list: to create a numbered list instead, you need to add before the line a number, a period and a space (for example ”1. ”). Similarly, by wrapping, the list will continue to generate referring to the last digit in the previous line.
  • Block quote: To create a quote that highlights the text within your message, you need to add the ”>” symbol (always followed by space) before the line.
  • Online code: to format the text as codejust add a peak at the beginning and end of the section concerned.
