WhatsApp asks AI for help… to help us better!

We have now fully entered the era of artificial intelligence, and WhatsApp wants to be part of the game. We had already seen last year that some sort of was in development AI assistant within the app (traces of which have been somewhat lost) and now WhatsApp is working on another function, again based on AI, to support users.

In short, using thein-app assistance of WhatsApp (settings -> help -> help center), the reply messages may be generated by a chatbotsrather than by a human being.

This should allow you to speed up the service significantly, while (hopefully) providing relevant answers to users. In any case, if not satisfied, the user can always request the intervention of a human operator. Let’s say that in this way the AI ​​will make an initial screening, which could already solve various problems, thus easing the intervention of the operators.

Let’s clarify that a feature of this kind was already in development for Android since last year, and only now has it also been spotted in the WhatsApp code for iPhone. In any case it is a function still in developmentnot officially announced, so we don’t know when it will officially arrive.
