Since yesterday, December 6new Very Mobile users who purchase one online SIM or one eSIM they will be able to do activation via SPID, i.e. the public digital identity that allows everyone to access the online services of the public administration/businesses.
In particular, on the operator’s official page you can see that the “SPID” section has been added in the “Purchase” category. To use this new activation method, users will have to purchase a SIM on the site, wait for delivery and then start the activation process (obviously if you purchase an eSIM it will not be necessary to wait for delivery home).
To finalize everything, simply download the official Very Mobile app and then press “Activate SIM”. After entering your tax code and the last five digits of the SIM ICCID, the user will have to select the use of the SPID. This new authentication method is added to the more classic one which involves uploading personal documents and recording a video for recognition.
Finally, for those who don’t know, Very Mobile is a rechargeable prepaid service from WindTre: in fact, it uses the operator’s 4G network with some speed limits.
