At MWC 2024 there could be tasty news for the Wear OS world, thanks to Xiaomi. In fact, the Chinese company seems intent on presenting Watch 2a more basic version of the already popular Watch 2 Pro that we reviewed a few months ago.

The smartwatch confirms itself as a friend of physical activity, with more 150 activities different, positioning GNSS independent, monitoring of heartbeatof the sleepand of blood saturation. It’s not even waterproof 50 atmospheresto follow you even during your dives.

The dimensions of the watch are 47.6 × 45.9 x 11m8 mm, with straps from 135 – 205 mm depending on the length, by 46 mm wide.

As you can see from the images below, the case, in aluminium alloywill be in silver or black, with straps made of a “thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer” (silicone looked ugly).

The price finally (via: Winfuture), depending on the retailer and country, it should fluctuate between 200 and 220 euros, therefore cheaper than its bigger brother, but without excessive sacrifices.
