Apple has indeed updated the Apple TV app. This is a very substantial update, given that the Cupertino company has introduced a new graphical interfacewith which it hopes to offer an even better experience to all those who subscribe to Apple TV.
As you can see from the image Below, among the main new features of this update we find one new sidebar within the graphical interface. The new bar on the left of the interface will allow quick access to bookshelfat the store and ai streaming services favorite media on Apple TV.
Furthermore, inside the Home section there will be a new category to quickly access all channels to which users are registered, as well as access all connected apps to your account on Apple TV.
For all smart TV devices that use Apple TV, the new sidebar will also allow you to quickly change your profile with which you use Apple TV. The screenshot below shows you what the new personal profile switcher on Apple TV will look like.
The update also brings some new features to the Store tab: the new interface indeed unifies movies and TV shows in a single view, so users can more easily access everything that is available for purchase or rental. In the same context, a quick option has been added for view suggested channels and apps based on your profile.
Apple has announced that the update just described for the Apple TV app is in the distribution phase on all compatible devices. It may take a few days for the rollout to be complete.
