TCL launches two huge 98″ TVs in Italy: specifications and prices

TCL has launched two new TVs in Italy that expand the 98 inch range and which will join the C73 model by presenting in 2022. In particular, the P74 and C98 series accommodate i models 98P74 and 98C80, both characterized above all by the cinematic dimensions of their screens. Proceeding in order, the 98P74 model is equipped with 4K panel at 144 HzHDMI 2.1 inputs with VRR and AMD FreeSync, based on the Google TV platform with not only Chromecast integrated but also Apple AirPlay 2, Dolby Atmos and ONKYO 2.1 60W audio, and support for Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ HDR formats.

The other model, however, the 98C80, it is the first 98 inch with Mini LED backlight, with 1344 local dimming zones. 1600 nits of peak brightness, Google TV, cross support for all HDR formats (Dolby Vision IQ, HLG, HDR10+), HDMI 2.1, 144 Hz panel with VRR from 48 to 144 Hz and ONKYO 2.1 60W sound system with support for Dolby Atmos. Furthermore, to make the color rendering even more truthful and immersive, the 98C80 uses a Quantum Dot panel.

Furthermore, the P74 Series features a Wide Color Gamut display that reproduces colors that are 30% purer and richer than traditional LED screens, while the C80 Series features QLED panels with MiniLED backlighting.

Both models are equipped with a advanced Smart TV system – Google TV with integrated Google Assistant – offering over 700,000 films and TV series available on the most popular streaming services. Additionally, users can easily access their favorite content thanks to integrated voice control.

The TCL 98P74 TV is available at a selection of electronics stores at a recommended retail price of €2999while the 98C80 model is available at the recommended retail price of €3999.
