Within the smartphone market, what until a few months ago we would have defined as a niche is making its way, but now it is becoming increasingly broader, that is, that of foldable smartphones.
According to the well-known leaker Yogesh BrarThe 2024 will be a year full of launches of leaflets from the major brands: in a post on X (which we leave below) he collected what the models will be which will see the light in the coming months, although the precise periods in which the presentations will take place are not yet known.

According to what is reported in the post, during 2024 we will see the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 of samsung, del Find N5 by oppo, by Open 2 by oneplus, of Mix Fold 4 of xiaomi and the X Fold 3 of vivo, while the launch of the Find N5 Flip by OPPO.
Samsung has gotten us used to it by now with the launch in the summer period of its leaflets, so there shouldn’t be much news about it. While, as regards OPPO and OnePlus, we can expect what we saw with the OnePlus Open and the OPPO Find N3, therefore essentially the same device but for different markets.
The real news will be represented by Xiaomi and Vivo: the former should launch the Mix Fold 4 globallyunlike the Mix Fold 3 which remained tied to the Chinese market, while the second should launch its X Fold 3, but it is not always easy to understand the Vivo strategies in the European market.
One of the big absentees from this post is certainly Google, which should launch the leaflet successor to the Pixel Foldbut perhaps the leaker didn’t have much information about it and therefore preferred not to mention it.
All this mainly concerns the big brands in the sector, but it is possible to also expect news from huawei, honor and motorola or a definitive tecno debut.
Furthermore, it is not to be forgotten that at MWC 2024 we witnessed the launch of many cheap leaflets like that of Nubia, Energizer or Blackview. In short, if before they were practically exclusive to Samsung, now there are many brands that are entering this market segment, so we can expect a 2024 full of leaflets.
