Samsung just released a new update software for its Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, currently its highest-end true wireless headphones.

The update introduced by Samsung brings a feature that we had not yet seen on Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, but which we recently heard about. It’s about function Auto Switch.

In fact, a few days ago we talked about the audio innovations that Samsung has announced for its devices, and which should arrive in the near future. Among these we find theAuto Switch. It’s about the possibility of switch automatically Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Bluetooth connection between selected Samsung tablets or TVs and your smartphone when you receive a call.

The news comes with the version R510XXUOAXB4 of the firmware for Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, and it should work even when headphones are connected to Galaxy Book 3 And Galaxy Book 4. For compatibility, the devices connected to the headphones must be updated to One UI 4.1.1 (or later) and have the Continuity Service app (version 1.2.16 or later).

In addition to this new feature, the update just described also introduces some improvements to the reliability and stability of the connection via Auracast on Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

The update released by Samsung for its Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is currently during automatic distribution in Europe, and therefore also in Italy. It weighs approximately 6 MB, we expect the rollout to be completed within the next few days.
