Galaxy S24 is not a top camera phone: it shoots like the Pixel 7a for DxOMark

Galaxy S24 is the smaller brother of samsung‘s new top-of-the-range series, and it is reasonable to expect high-level performance from a device like this also in the photographic field. It’s a pity that DxOMark I don’t completely agree.

The well-known French team that evaluates the photographic sectors of smartphones in depth has given a score of 133 points for Galaxy S24. It’s about a modest amountwhich places Galaxy S24 at 40th place of the general classification. The device positions itself like Pixel 7aa model that arrived on the market at a significantly lower price and with objectively more modest hardware.

In the shooting phase, Galaxy S24 achieved a partial score 134 pointswhile in the zoom phase it stood out positively with a partial of 135 points. It seems that instead was lacking during video recording, where he took a partial of 125 pointsand also in bokeh mode for which it achieved a partial of 65 points.
