After numerous rumors, the press renderings of the new smartphone have also been leaked Nothing, or Nothing Phone (2a). Going into detail, compared to Phone (2), this device it has fewer LED strips at the rear: There should be three instead of eleven. Obviously, this is a choice aimed at containing costs, as is the almost certain absence of wireless charging support.
Furthermore, from the images it would seem that Nothing has chosen the use of plastic instead of metal. Also in this case, the company’s decision could be explained by the desire to reduce production costs and thus offer users a rather limited selling price. In this sense, according to previous rumors, the basic variant should cost more in Europe 349 euroswhile the “premium” one, i.e. with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, could reach quota 399 euros.
As for the technical specifications, Nothing Phone (2a) will be equipped with the processor MediaTek Dimensity 7200a 6.7-inch AMOLED display (with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz) and two rear photographic sensors: the main 50 MP and the ultra-wide angle also 50 MP.
At the front, however, there is space for a 16 MP sensor. Finally, the battery will have a capacity of 5,000 mAh (with 45W fast charging support). Nothing Phone (2nd) will be presented on March 5th.
