Optoma he just launched UHZ55, a 4K video projector that succeeds the excellent UHZ50 and which aims to become yours entertainment hub total domestic, with intelligent features and gaming, plus plenty of connectivity options (looking for a new projector? Check out our pick of the best).

Optoma UHZ55 features a 3,000 lumen lamp with a contrast ratio of 2,500,000:1, easy-to-install features and a laser light source DuraCore.
The company claims that one of the flagship features of the device is reliability, as it is able to last up to 30,000 hours maintenance-free in Eco mode.
The projector supports formats HDR10 And HLG HDR with DCI-P3 WCG and technology PureMotion MEMC to eliminate motion blur, and can project images up to 300 inches. UHZ55 can also handle 3D content immersive from Blu-ray Disc players, video broadcasting and latest generation game consoles.
For audio there are two built-in speakers 10Wwhile the operating noise settles at 27 dB when in Eco mode.
The game mode can take advantage of one update frequency to 240Hz at 1080p and a response time of 16.9 ms in 4K at 60Hz ideal for pairing with new generation 4K consoles.
There is also support VRR, but it’s worth noting that there are no HDMI 2.1 ports for gaming.
Another feature is the versatility: the projector offers wireless solutions for both video and audio. Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi, the UHZ55 supports wireless streaming from services like Prime Video, and it’s also certified WiSA, which means it can transmit and receive wireless audio from other WiSA certified devices, allowing for greater freedom when it comes to installation. WiSA technologies allow you to transmit and receive the highest quality audio wirelessly, with perfect synchronization and no noticeable latency.
Connections on the UHZ55 include three HDMI 2.0 ports, one of which is compatible with eARC for connecting to a soundbar, three USB-A 2.0 ports for flash drives, and an S/PDIF audio output.
