License suspended for those who drive on the phone: new restriction from the Highway Code

From the Traffic Laws a new and significant restriction is coming for those who drive by phone. Important details about a new amendment to the Code have leaked out will exacerbate them sanctions for those who are surprised when using the telephone while they drive.

There is talk of the suspension of the license for those who drive on the phone. A period of is expected one week suspension of the license for those who commit this offense having less than points between 10 and 20. For those who have less than 10 points, the license suspension will take effect for 15 days.

The innovation is the result of an amendment proposed by the PD, and subsequently adapted by the current Government. In order for it to become law, the amendment will have to be examined by the House and then by the Senate final approval. This will most likely happen in the short term.
