The most important technology companies are trying to develop the best tools generative artificial intelligence. In this sense, Google is investing in Gemini, currently available in three variants: Nano, Pro and Ultra. The former works on premium Android devices, such as the Pixel 8 Pro and Galaxy S24, the other two, however, act on Google’s cloud servers.

Obviously Gemini Nano has limited potential compared to Gemini Ultra and Pro, however the Mountain View giant is trying to broaden the horizon. In particular, since apps can leverage Gemini Nano through an API, it is not very complex to implement new features. Specifically, recent rumors have suggested that Gemini Nano soon may be able to summarize the articles.

Moreover, in the month of Augustthe company has added a feature to the experimental suite Search Generative Experience (SGE) capable of generating key points for any web page opened in the Google app.

This option is available on any Android device as long as the user selects “SGE while browsing” in the dedicated menu of the app.
