Goodbye boring mailing lists: big news coming to Gmail for Android

We are now used to using apps and services Google on a daily basis, both in the work and personal spheres. And among the most popular services we certainly find Gmail, the well-known email client from Google.

In recent years Gmail has seen several updates, some who have renewed the graphic appearance of the app and others who have introduced new features. In the last few hours it has emerged another novelty of particular importance that could arrive in the future.

The novelty we are talking about would be in the development phase for the Gmail app for Android devices. The screenshots you find below summarize what we are about to talk about: it is a new and obvious button For unsubscribe to the newsletters e mailing lists directly from Gmail.

The new option is under development and should simplify a lot the operations to unsubscribe from mailing lists, those which in most cases have the purpose of conveying advertising content.

Often people sign up to these mailing lists following access to online platforms and stores that require the email address, even in a unaware.

Until now, unsubscribing from this type of mailing list has been possible via the included button in the body of the email and usually located at the end, perhaps with a font of small size. With this new button integrated into the Gmail interface and clearly visible everything will be easier.

We reiterate that the new option is still under development, and therefore not yet publicly available. We will return to update you as soon as distribution by Google starts.
