The dark theme surrounds Google Drive on the web: how to activate it

Google has just released an interesting news for Google Drive, which specifically concerns its web version. Let’s talk about the option to activate the dark theme.

Google’s popular cloud management platform just received the new option to activate the dark theme across the entire graphic interface. This is an option that complete Drive’s support for the dark theme, given that it has been available for some time for its apps on mobile devices.

The Images that you find in the gallery show what the dark theme looks like on Drive for web. We see an interface with a uniform background and dark graywith the main section which instead presents a background black.

The elements of sidebar and of top bar for research they are distinguished from the rest by one lighter shade of the background. The font is white, while the elements displayed in Drive have their characteristic color.

The activation of the dark theme that we just saw on Drive it doesn’t happen automatically based on the theme set at the system level.

To activate it you will need to access the Settings of Drive using the wheel at the top right, then select Dark from the named subsection I wait. Once you select this option then the theme should immediately become dark.

The novelty that we have just seen is currently during automatic distribution via server. It has already arrived in our area, but it may take a few days to see it on your PCs too.
