The Realme GT5 Pro announced in China: it will have something in common with OnePlus 12 and LG G8S ThinQ

Realme presented the new one in China GT5 Pro, the top of the range smartphone from the Chinese company of the BBK group. In fact, the smartphone has some elements in common with the OnePlus 12OnePlus’ premium smartphone, belonging to the same group: the 5,400 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.

Furthermore, the two smartphones share the heart, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3the main rear camera, i.e. the sensor Sony LYT-808 50 MP, and one maximum brightness of 4,500 nits: specifications lead it to rival the other top of the range products that are starting to be released in this period and the others that will be released at the beginning of 2024.

The Realme GT5 Pro has another features which makes it almost unique: it’s possible unlock your smartphone directly with the Palm of the hand by bringing it closer to the device when it is turned off. This functionality is not totally new, because it was possible to interact with the palm of the hand already in 2019 with the LG G8S ThinQ.

Finally, among the characteristics that distinguish it there is a vapor chamber cooling system of 12,000 square mm, which will give its support when the smartphone is put under stress especially during gaming sessions.

The Realme GT5 Pro will be available in four cuts of memory: 12/256 GB, 16/256 GB, 16/512 GB and 16/1 TB respectively per price of €441.20, €480.16, €519.10 and €558.05.

Obviously, it must be considered that these prices are those for the Asian market converted at the current exchange rate and in Italy they will probably be different.

The smartphone will be available in three colors: Starry Night (in glass), Bright Moon And RedRock (in eco-leather). It is currently up for pre-order in China and will begin shipping on December 14th, but we don’t know when it will be available in Italy, although we can think that it will presumably arrive in 2024 together with the other top of the range.
