Vodafone says goodbye to faxes: does anyone still use them?

Vodafone has just announced that soon will close permanently his fax service. We are talking about Vodafone Fax, a service that has remained in operation for a long time and has now come to an end.

Maybe you didn’t know, but Vodafone has offered a service dedicated to receiving and sending faxes in digital format to its customers. The red operator has just issued an official statement announcing the definitive closure of the service.

Vodafone Fax provided the ability to send and receive faxes from your own PC, smartphones or tablet, with the option to download the contents via fax also in digital format. Access to the service was possible on a pay-as-you-go basis 2.50 euros for each fax sent, or by subscription.

The news communicated by Vodafone consists in definitive closure of Vodafone Fax starting next year April 12. Therefore, after April 12, 2024 it will no longer be possible use Vodafone Fax to send and receive faxes in digital format.

Customers affected by the closure of the service will be able to to save any documents present in the digital archive by April 12, 2024 by downloading the PDFs directly to your computer.

After this date, it will no longer be possible to access your account and therefore save files.

All those affected by the closure of the service, i.e. those who are subscribers to Vodafone Fax, will receive a personal communication by Vodafone. They might as well withdraw without costs from the contract, it also concerns a termination of a service.
