Wear OS 3.5 arrives on Fossil smartwatches, but it’s not in good company

In the smartwatch industry we know the commitment of Google also from a software point of view, with its Wear OS which is now widespread among millions of devices, including the most recent Samsung ones.

And in the last few hours, some important news has arrived on the Wear OS theme, with the Fossil smartwatch who have just received a important update of system.

Indeed, it arrives Wear OS 3.5, what we could define as a semi major update. The devices in fact move from Wear OS 3 to Wear OS 3.5. The update it does not seem introduce details revolutions at a system level, with Google citing the introduction of general improvements of performance.

It’s a shame, however, that some users with Fossil smartwatches who have just updated complain about problems of various nature, all quite relevant. In fact, someone reports problems regarding the correct startup of the smartphone. Others, however, report major problems autonomy.

In short, It doesn’t look like a health bath the update just released for Fossil smartwatches.

All this while on other smartwatches it has been present, for a few months now, Wear OS 4. The latter is the one that introduces the most relevant innovations at system level.

The firmware update we just described is currently during automatic distribution globally, starting with those who have a Fossil Gen 6.
