The new Android logo also arrives on the start screen, but not for everyone

Google must not be satisfied with the new logo yet Android, because in the latest betas of the QPR3 is introducing some subtle but crucial differences in the startup screen (do you know how to update Pixel phones, with OTA or factory image files?).

In fact, let’s remember that in September GrandeG introduced a new little robot with 3D designnow named “The bot”, and some new features in the writing Android, and now these updates have arrived on the boot screen devices Pixel with the Android 14 QPR3 beta.

On Pixel devices, the startup sequence begins with the “Google” logo in color and then an animated “G” appears in the dynamic Material You colors. At the bottom of the screen, the text “Powered by Android“.

Starting from Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1 on some devices, “Powered by” is centered (rather than left-aligned), and the written Android presents the new character and the capital “A”, followed by the robot’s head (the new writing at the top, the old one at the bottom).

The novelty has been extended to more devices with the second beta QPR3but to date it has not yet reached everyone, like the Pixel tablet for example.

On newer Android devices, such as honor Magic 6 Pro And xiaomi 14 Ultraa 3D version of the head is used, appearing at the bottom edge of the screen, while i Galaxy S24 present the new writing.

But that’s not the only news. In the second beta of QPR3 the “Google” logo that appears at the beginning of the animation becomes larger. Below you see the new one animation compared to the old one on a Pixel. On the left the old one and on the right the new one.
