Google fixes the bug in the latest Play System update: the spread starts again

After some unexpected events, the update has finally been released January of the Google Play System of Android. The update, initially released in January, was withdrawn after causing problems with the internal memory of some smartphones. In particular, some users, after installing the update, noticed the shutdown of multiple apps as well as incorrect functioning of the internal memory of their device.

For this reason, the February 1stGoogle published the instructions for manual correction of critical issues. However, this process immediately seemed rather complex as it required enabling developer mode, downloading the development tools, connecting the device and typing the right command prompts to manually delete the buggy packages. In any case, the update is now being released, with users hoping that this time it will be bug-free.

Taking a step back, it is the second time in four months that an automatic Android update has triggered critical issues on smartphones.

We are referring in particular to the critical issues that emerged on several Pixels after the installation of Android 14. Some users, in fact, faced bootloop problems and the impossibility of correctly reading the internal storage.
