Google Wallet is preparing to get along with its arch rival
According to the latest rumors, Google Wallet could soon become a valuable tool for i pass given that Google would be willing to implement support for digital passes used by apple Wallet. This is an important innovation given that the Cupertino company’s digital tool is widely used among apps and services capable of distributing digital tickets and passes.
In fact, more and more airline apps or cinema tickets feature the button “Add to Apple Wallet”, while for Google Wallet there is still nothing to do. However, things could change soon. In particular, the Mountain View giant is working for implement support for “pkpass” files on Wallet. In this regard, several users, taking “cue” from the post by Mishaal Rahman on the topic at hand, they highlighted how “pkpass” files are successfully opening in Wallet.
This function, however, it has not yet reached all usersi, in fact it is likely that it is a server-side update by Google.
In any case, this is good news given that thanks to this change Google Wallet will become much more useful and will finally get closer to the company’s goal, which is to create a digital version of the classic wallet, capable of “replicating” with credit cards, driving license (in some states) and various passes/tickets.
