WhatsApp is rolling out a new update via the Google Play Beta program. It’s about the version 2.24.6.13 which above all includes an interesting novelty: the possibility of pin up more than 3 chats. Going into the details of the news, there had recently been discussion about the possibility of fixing the channels at the top, a function that would have allowed users to give priority to certain channels in the Updates section. In this regard, the app developers are studying other solutions so that users can pin up a greater number of chats in addition to channels.
For this reason, in the latest Beta for Android there is evidence that the developers are working on the possibility of pinning more than three chats to the top. In detail, it will be allowed to put at least 5 chats at the top of the list (for the moment it is not known whether this limit will be increased or not). In any case, this is a novelty that will be rather appreciated by users, especially those who communicate with many people on a daily basis: in this way, in fact, they will always be able to keep an eye on the chats that are most important to them.
The option that will allow you to pin five chats to the top is still under development, therefore it will be available in a future update of the app. The times for the definitive release, therefore, are not yet known.
