Xiaomi Watch 2 doesn’t wait for the MWC: it’s already available in Italy, and the price isn’t bad!

Its debut was scheduled for MWC 2024. The fair dedicated to the world of furniture opens its doors on Monday 26 February, although there will already be several presentation events over the weekend, but apparently Xiaomi didn’t want to wait any longer. Xiaomi Watch 2 is already making its appearance on European stores, Italy includedand even without having a real official document in hand, we can already make a recap of the salient features and, why not, get one.

According to what is reported on the product sheet on MediaWorld online, Xiaomi Watch 2 is equipped with a 1.43″ AMOLED display, 466 x 466 pixels. The case is therefore 46 mm, and the material it is made of is aluminium. There would also be confirmation of the autonomy reported by various rumors from a few weeks ago: the famous ones are explicitly mentioned 65 hours of battery lifeguaranteed not only by Xiaomi’s optimization but also by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen1 processor.

The technical data sheet reported by Unieuro confirms the presence of the processor. Even on Amazon Germany, another store where the watch has appeared, there is talk of being able to reach 15 days of use. The operating system, for the avoidance of doubt, is Wear OS customized by Xiaomi (MIUI for Watch).

Among the features that we will certainly find on board there are GPS, NFC (for payments with Google Pay), heart rate, blood oxygen monitoring, and 5 ATM waterproofness. And the price? €69 less than the Watch 2 Pro which we told you about last October. And the great thing is that, at least on paper, they share the same processor and the same display.
