A new weather app arrives on Android Auto
Android Auto is enriched with a new app dedicated to the weather. In fact, in the last few hours, the well-known infotainment platform that allows you to connect Android smartphones to your car has extended support to the app MyRadar.
The MyRadar app is very popular in the segment of apps centered on weather services. MyRadar is in fact an app based on weather forecasts deriving from radar information. This allows you to have a high degree of accuracy on local forecast.
This is why MyRadar allows you to receive notifications and alerts in case something is about to happen intense atmospheric events which were not predicted, at least not completely in terms of intensity, by the classic weather services.
With Android Auto support, the MyRadar app will therefore allow you to receive alerts in the event of worrying meteorological phenomena on the navigation path set in car. The screenshot in the gallery they show you a preview of how its interface appears on Android Auto.
Too bad that the radar-based weather monitoring feature of the route you are taking, called RouteCastis available on Android Auto only for those who are paid subscribers to the Pro version of the MyRadar app.
MyRadar announced the compatibility with Android Auto and CarPlay. If you have it installed on your smartphone, then you should see it available also on Android Auto once the smartphone is connected to the car.
