From the end of 2022 Google has renewed its platform Home, not only with a completely redesigned app, but also with a website which allows you to manage from browser their devices (by the way, do you know how to set the weather forecast on Google Home?).
This tool has just been updated with new functions which allow you to access the chronology of videos and modify them. Let’s see how.
Video history arrives
As for your video history, you can now use your browser to explore it chronology from the video camera, with the video in the center and the list of movies on the left. You can use the function to see when a package was delivered, for example, or to otherwise access events And timeline.

Now you can make edits to videos, from the web and apps
The other novelty concerns the possibility of create custom clips from the video history, both on the web and from apps, for example customizing the duration of a clip before downloading it from your video history.
On the web, simply select the start time and adjust the clip by scrolling the editor to the desired length. You will find a button download in the lower right corner of the video player.
From Home appyou can trim a video clip simply by choosing a start time and selecting the length of the clip from a series of options. Who is subscribed to Nest Aware Plus can download clips from anywhere in your video history.
When it arrives and compatible devices
These new features will be available “in the coming weeks”. Here is the list of video cameras supported:

In the end, Google Home for the web will now support a Public Preview release so you can try out features before they are more widely available.
